Liftbook (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a personal workout logging app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Liftbook does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data outside of your device. All information you enter into the app — including exercise names, sets, reps, weights, notes, and workout dates — is stored locally on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or other contact details unless you choose to share them with us separately (for example, if you contact support by email).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Store and display your workouts in the app
- Keep your workout history available across sessions on your device
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other apps or websites.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
All of your data is stored locally on your device. We do not use any cloud storage, remote servers, or third-party databases. Your information never leaves your device.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not use any third-party services to store or process your workout data. Your data remains entirely on your device and is not shared with any third parties except as required by law.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Your workout data is stored on your device for as long as you use the app.
You can delete individual workouts directly within the app. Since all data is stored locally, deleting it from the app removes it completely. Uninstalling the app will also remove all stored data.
6. Children’s Privacy
Liftbook is rated 4+ and is suitable for users of all ages. Because the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, there are no special privacy concerns for younger users. All data entered into the app remains on the user’s device.
7. Security
Because all data is stored locally on your device, your information is protected by your device's built-in security features (such as passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). We do not have access to your data at any time.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
